The Cold War Kids‘ track ‘All This Could Be Yours‘ was featured on the latest episode of Pure Genius — Season 1, Episode 11, “Touch and Go” this week.
The track was played while the plasma was being prepared, so that a teenage girl’s blistered skin can be cured and she can go to her prom.
‘All This Could Be Yours‘ was the first single from the band’s fifth studio album Hold My Home, which was released in 2014.
As for Cold War Kids, they are an indie rock band from Long Beach, California that has been together since 2004. The band’s influences include The Smiths, Tom Waits, U2 and The Velvet Underground.
Don’t know about you, but I can definitely hear more than just a little bit of Tom Waits in ‘All This Could Be Yours‘.
