The now defunct British rock band Cream’s ‘White Room‘ was one of the tracks heard on the latest The Last of Us episode this week — The Last of Us, Season 1, Episode 3, “Long, Long Time“.

The track was played as we see Bill’s life before Frank appears.

Cream’s ‘White Room‘ is a now-classic psychedelic rock track that was released by the iconic rock band on their third album Wheels of Fire, which came out in 1968 via Atlantic Records.

The song went on to hit #1 in Australia, #2 in Canada and New Zealand, and in the Top 10 in Finland.

White Room‘ also charted at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #5 on the Cashbox Top Singles charts.

Since its initial release, the song has been covered by an extremely diverse group of people, including Deep Purple, Joel Grey, and Helloween.

It has also been placed on Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Songs of All Time list as one of the best rock tracks.
