Listen to Daft Punk’s ‘Revolution 909’ from ‘Beyond’ — A Cool Beat (Video)
French electronic music duo Daft Punk’s ‘Revolution 909‘ was featured in the new series ‘Beyond‘ this week — Season 1, Episode 2, “Tempus Fugit“.
The instrumental track was played as Luke and Holden arrive at Alice’s party, Luke gets drinks, introduces Holden to Riley and then Riley shows him around.
‘Revolution 909‘ is from Daft Punk’s 1997 album Homework, and the music video for the track, featuring a rave and a pretty cool flashback, was directed by U.S. filmmaker and screen writer Roman Coppola.
At the time Daft Punk said the video was a commentary on the French government’s hatred of raves.
Watch the official video for the track below. If you enjoyed it, you can pick up Daft Punk’s excellent 16-track album Homework at most major music sites.
