American singer-songwriter Daniel Martin Moore’s song ‘Anyway‘ was featured on USA’s Suits soundtrack on Wednesday night — (Season 5, Episode 11 — “Blowback“) at the perfect time. As Rachel tells Mike she won’t be leaving him.
‘Anyway‘ is from Moore’s latest album, Golden Age, released last October. A 10-track album full of previously unreleased songs written over several years, and one that is well worth a listen if you haven’t heard it already. You can currently do that on Soundcloud.
As for Daniel Martin Moore, he is a Kentucky-based artist that doesn’t always get the recognition he deserves as, not only does he write beautiful songs and perform them with such beauty and grace, he is also an artist that gives back far more than he ever takes.
Moore has worked in the Peace Corps, recorded an album and donated all the proceeds to a campaign to stop mountain top coal removal in Appalachia, and given up his time to perform for various other charity events over the years.
He currently has five albums out, including his latest release. Two on the Sub Pop label and three on his own record label, OK Recordings. He’s also in the studio nowadays working on his sixth.
