Homer and Marge dance to ‘That Girl Is You‘ on The Simpsons
Iconic American rock band Dave Matthews Band’s song ‘That Girl Is You‘ was featured on the latest episode of The Simpsons last night (February 10th, 2018) — Season 30, Episode 13, “I’m Dancing As Fat As I Can“.
The song was played as we see Homer and Marge dancing together, and as Lisa becomes overwhelmed with emotion.
The Dave Matthews Band’s song ‘That Girl Is You‘ is originally from the band’s ninth studio album Come Tomorrow. Released in June, 2018, it was the band’s first album in six years.
It was also a big hit, making it to the number one spot on the Billboard 200 chart right after its release. It sold over 292,000 copies in just its first week of release, making it one of the biggest-selling rock albums in recent years.
‘That Girl Is You’ was first released in May, 2018 as the second single from the album. It followed the album’s lead single ‘Samurai Cop (Oh Joy Begin)‘.
