The Nashville, Tennessee based band Dead Sea Empire’s ‘Gonna Fill You Up‘ was played on the latest episode of the comedy drama Shameless this week — Season 10, Episode 6, “Adios Gringos” (aired on 15th December, 2019).
The song was heard playing while Tami is getting annoyed about the long line outside the bathrooms.
‘Gonna Fill You Up’ was one of two Dead Sea Empire tracks used on the show, as their song ‘The Halls are Speaking, Pt. 1′ was also featured later on in the episode.
The track is from the band’s 2014 self-titled album, which was funded back in 2012 via a successful crowd funding campaign on Kickstarter.
And, while you may not be familiar with Dead Sea Empire, the band is not a stranger to the world of TV show music. Their music has also been featured on Shameless several other times in season 9 in two separate episodes.
Guess the show’s music supervisor likes what these guys do!
