Listen to Denney and The Jets’ ‘Darlin’ from The Big Door Prize, S01 E04

American garage rock band Denney and The Jets’ ‘Darlin‘ was that cool rock song playing at the beginning of The Big Door Prize last night — The Big Door Prize, Season 1, Episode 4, “Father Reuben“.

The slow rock track was released by the Nashville-based rock band in April, 2014 on their debut studio album Mexican Coke.

The album came out on indie label Limited Fanfare Records as well as on the now-defunct label Burger Records.

With band founder Chris Denney using various backing bands as “The Jets” throughout the band’s 14-year history, in the case of Mexican Coke the album featured New York-based band Clear Plastic Masks as the backing band.

It is the first and last full-length album Denney and The Jets has released, with also their last single coming out around the same time.
