Welsh singer Donna Lewis’ ‘I Love You Always Forever‘ was played on A Million Little Things last night as Greta and Katherine are driving down to the beach, and the car breaks down — A Million Little Things, Season 5, Episode 6, “Mic Drop“.

Donna Lewis’ ‘I Love You Always Forever‘ came out in 1996 as a single from her debut studio album Now in a Minute.

The track was also Lewis’ debut single, which catapulted to the top of the Billboard Top 40 chart and Adult Top 40 chart in the United States.

It also became the most-played song on American radio ever up until that point.

I Love You Always Forever‘ also charted in 18 countries, including the singer’s home country of the United Kingdom, as well as earning Lewis a nomination at the Brit Awards for the Best British Female Artist.

Since the enormous success of the song, however, Lewis has not had another hit that came even close.

Something that must have been a huge disappointment to the talented singer, being that successful with your first single only.

But, over 25 years later, Donna Lewis still has an active singing career, with a slew of album and single releases, and with her most recent single ‘Summertime‘ coming out in 2020.

Listen to Donna Lewis’ ‘I Love You Always Forever‘ from A Million Little Things on the song’s music video, and on the singer’s Now in a Minute album.

Almost 30 years since its first release, and it is still a gorgeous song, eh?
