English singer songwriter Ed Patrick’ ‘You In My Life‘ was one of the marvelous songs featured on the incredibly emotional and quite surprising episode of New Amsterdam this week — New Amsterdam, Season 4, Episode 9, “In a Strange Land”.
It was played as Lauren talks to Perez about the church’s future, and as Yakub and Rahel see each other after surgery.
The emotional song continues playing as Floyd tells Leyla a spot has opened up for her in General Surgery.
Ed Patrick’s ‘You In My Life‘ was released as a single in 2019.
That release came after the singer had uploaded the track as a demo on both YouTube and Soundcloud, and his fans had loved it.
Due to that overwhelmingly positive response, the indie musician decided to release the track as a single.
Good thing he did, eh? After all, the music supervisor of New Amsterdam obviously loved it as well.
Then again, Ed Patrick’s gorgeous music seems to have caught the eye of the folks at New Amsterdam, as this is the second song the show has played on its soundtrack in the last couple of years.
