British singer songwriter Ellem‘s rock song ‘That Thing You Do‘ was featured on FOX’s ‘Lucifer‘ this week — Season 2, Episode 1 — “Everything’s Coming Up Lucifer“. It was also used as an accompaniment for the promo for the second series.
It is not the first time Ellem has had a song featured in a TV series, however. In fact, she has been making a name for herself for writing music perfect for movies and TV, with well over 100 songs already featured in movie and TV series, including NBC’s ‘About A Boy‘, ‘Reign‘ and ‘Resurrection’.
The Los Angeles-London based singer is also not just a solo artist, however, as she is also a member of the band We Came As Strangers.
As for ‘That Thing You Do‘, the track was released by Ellem on September 5th. Listen to it in the video below.
