Listen to Elvis Presley’s ‘A Little Less Conversation’ from Dexter: New Blood, Episode 6

One of the most iconic American singers of all time Elvis Presley’s ‘A Little Less Conversation‘ was one of the fabulous songs featured on the soundtrack of the new episode of Dexter: New Blood this week — Dexter: New Blood, Season 1, Episode 6, “Too Many Tuna Sandwiches“.

The song was playing as Dexter is driving and then gets pulled over by Angela who shows him the obituary.

While still a relatively well-known song, Elvis Presley’s ‘A Little Less Conversation‘ is less popular than many of his other releases.

The song was originally recorded in 1968 for the Presley musical comedy film Live a Little, Love a Little.

While not a huge hit when it was first released, a remix version by Dutch DJ and producer Junkie XL was an enormous hit in 2002.

That version of the song catapulted to the #1 spot on the charts in 13 countries, although not in the United States where it only made it to #50 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The song was certified Gold in the United States, though, and Gold, Silver or 2 x Platinum in 10 other countries.

Listen to Elvis Presley’s ‘A Little Less Conversation‘ from the therapy-obsessed episode of Dexter: New Blood in the scene from Presley’s Live a Little, Love a Little movie, and on his 1970 compilation album Almost in Love.

The song is most definitely dated nowadays but, hey, it is still Elvis.
