California based indie singer songwriter Emmit Fenn’s ‘Until We Leave The Ground’ is one of the songs featured on the new soon-to-be hit Netflix rom-com To All The Boys: Always and Forever, Lara Jean.
It is the track that was heard as Lara Jean sees Peter in the wedding tent, and then flashes back to the first time they met.
Emmit Fenn’s ‘Until We Leave The Ground‘ was released just a couple of days ago via TH3RD BRAIN Records. Just in time for the film’s Netflix release.
As the singer himself says about the song on his Facebook page, it was originally written about someone he used to be in a relationship with.
“It’s always strange writing a song for someone you’re in a relationship with and then when the song finally comes out, you’re not with them anymore. This is one of those songs. It’s such a stamp in time for me that every time I listen it now, it brings me right back to that moment and I can’t help but smile.”
The song itself is a lovely, mellow track with a gorgeously addictive melody, rich vocals and a sweet danceable beat. (continue reading and listen to ‘Until We Leave The Ground‘ below…)

To All The Boys: Always and Forever, Lara Jean is, of course, streaming on Netflix along with the first two movies in the series.
