Etta James’ ‘At Last‘ was featured on the latest episode of the popular CBS medical drama series The Good Doctor this week — Season 2, Episode 18, “Trampoline” (11th March, 2019).
The song was played as Neil and Audrey kiss in front of the ER staff, thus letting them know they are in a relationship.
Etta James’ ‘At Last‘ is from the blues/soul singer’s debut studio album of the same name. The album was released in 1960. It eventually saw four single releases — ‘All I Could Do Was Cry’, ‘Trust in Me’,’My Dearest Darling‘ and the title track ‘At Last‘.
The album was placed in the #119 spot on Rolling Stone‘s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, and the single ‘At Last’ was also eventually certified gold.
‘At Last‘ was originally written for the movie Sun Valley Serenade.
In recent years, the song has also been covered by Celine Dion, and Beyoncé.
