Listen to Frank Sinatra’s ‘Just One of Those Things’ — The Crown Season 3, Episode 1

Frank Sinatra’s ‘Just One of Those Things’ was played over the end credits of the hit Netflix web series The Crown, Season 3, Episode 1, “Olding” this week.

Just One of Those Things‘ was originally written by Cole Porter for the musical comedy Jubilee, which premiered on Broadway in 1935.

It became a hit with Peggy Lee’s version in 1953, and has since been re-recorded by a massive number of iconic music superstars including Bing Crosby, Doris Day, Mel Torme, Charlie Parker, Oscar Peterson, Dionne Warwick, Shirley Bassey, Judy Garland and, of course, Frank Sinatra.

Sinatra’s ‘Just One of Those Things‘ was featured on his album Swing Easy!, which was released in 1954 via Capitol Records.

It is the only recording Sinatra made of the song, but the original recording has been used on three hit compilation albums since.

Listen to Frank Sinatra’s ‘Just One of Those Things‘ as featured on The Crown in the video below.

If you would like to listen to it on Spotify as well, there is a superb compilation album released earlier in the year that includes the track. Called I’ve Got You Under My Skin, you will find that below too.
