The gorgeous Freya Ridings track ‘Ultraviolet‘ was featured on the new episode of the medical drama The Resident this week — Season 2, Episode 8, “Heart in a Box“.
The song was played during the final montage of the heart transplant, Henry’s successful surgery and during Dr. Bell’s triumph with Gordon.
British singer songwriter Freya Ridings released her debut single ‘Blackout‘ in May, 2017, followed soon after by a second single, a lovely cover version of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs song ‘Maps’, and by her debut album Live at St Pancras Old Church.
Her hit single ‘Lost Without You’ released soon after made it to the number 9 spot on the UK singles chart.
But it is her gorgeous latest single ‘Ultraviolet’ that was featured in The Resident this week.
As she says about the song, ‘Ultraviolet’ is about parts of ourselves we believe we have to hide – and when those are revealed to someone you love it’s the best thing and really beautiful”.
