Listen to Frightened Rabbit’s ‘Death Dream’ From The Originals — Depressive But Cool

2016 is a good year for Scottish indie band Frightened Rabbit so far. Not only did they have their debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert back in March, they also released their fifth studio album Painting of a Panic Attack in April, and kicked off an extensive US tour at the same time.

This week, the band even had their new single ‘Death Dream‘ featured on an episode of The Originals — (Season 3, Episode 21 — “Give ‘Em Hell Kid“); a track from the aforementioned fifth album.

And yes, while it is a very cool track, and the new album is wonderful, it is just as depressive as the rest of the music from the album.

After all, it’s not every day you hear the lyrics “You died in your sleep last night” now, is it?

Listen to Frightened Rabbit’s ‘Death Dream‘ below. Just try not to roll up into a fetal position and cry when it’s finished. You can buy it on all major digital music sites.
