Listen to G Flip’s ‘2 Million’ from Marvel’s Runaways, Season 3, Episode 1 — Xavin and Molly bonding

Australian indie pop singer songwriter G Flip’s ‘2 Million‘ was featured on Marvel’s Runaways this week — Marvel’s Runaways, Season 3, Episode 1, “Smoke and Mirrors”.

The gorgeous song was played as we see Xavin and Molly bonding, and Xavin explaining that soldiers are not supposed to show emotion, but that does not mean she doesn’t feel it.

G Flip’s ‘2 Million‘ is from the Melbourne native’s debut studio album About Us. Released in August, 2019, the 1o-track album made it to number 6 on the Australian album chart.

It was also nominated for Best Independent Release and G Flip nominated as Breakthrough Artist at the ARIA Music Awards of 2019.

As for G Flip, aka Georgia Flipo, she is not only a singer/songwriter, but also a producer and drummer. That drumming background often means the songs she releases have in innate sense of rhythm you do not always hear on similar tracks from other artists.

2 Million‘ is not the first song the Aussie singer has had featured on a TV show either. In the last couple of years, her music has also appeared in Dickinson, Station 19, For the People, and Grown-ish,

With their superb rhythms and catchy music, it’s likely a lot more of her songs will be catching TV series’ music supervisors in the future as well.

You can listen to G Flip’s ‘2 Million‘ as featured on Marvel’s Runaways in her lyric video below, and her album About Us in the Spotify player below that.
