Country singer George Strait’s ‘I Cross My Heart‘ was one of the tracks appearing on the first part of the two-part Big Sky Season 3 finale last night — Big Sky, Season 3, Episode 12, “Are You Mad?”
It was played at the end of the episode as Buck has kidnapped Emily and Denise and has tied them up and gagged them, and is now in the car driving with them in it.
‘I Cross My Heart‘ is playing on the radio as Buck sings along.
George Strait’s ‘I Cross My Heart‘ was the lead single from the singer’s thirteenth studio album Pure Country, which was released in 1992 on the MCA Nashville label.
It was also one of the Strait songs featured on the soundtrack of the movie Pure Country, which also starred the country singer.
‘I Cross My Heart’ ultimately became one of the country singer’s most successful singles, making it to #1 on the U.S. Hot Country Songs chart, and to #1 in Canada on the Canada Country Tracks chart.
In the 30 years since its release, the mellow love song has also come to be known as one of his best songs.
