Irish singer songwriter Glen Hansard’s ‘Love Don’t Leave Me Waiting‘ was featured on the ABC crime comedy drama series The Rookie this week — Season 1, Episode 15, “Manhunt“.
The song was played during the episode’s final scene, as John says goodbye to the consultant and she gives him her number.
‘Love Don’t Leave Me Waiting‘ is from Glen Hansard‘s 2012 studio album Rhythm and Repose.
A release that was a number one hit for Hansard on the Irish Independent Albums Chart, as well as an album that charted in seven other countries, including the United States and the UK.
Rhythm and Repose was Hansard’s debut solo album after many years of performing and recording with his band The Frames, and as half of the The Swell Season duo. Since then, he has released two other solo albums.
Glen Hansard’s latest album, This Wild Willing, will be released in April this year on the Anti- record label.
