Listen to the Hippo Campus track ‘South‘ from the new Freeform series ‘Beyond‘
The Hippo Campus track ‘South‘ was featured in the new Freeform network series ‘Beyond‘ this week — Season 1, Episode 2, “Tempus Fugit“. The track was played when Lucas goes off on the motorbike he and his father have fixed.
‘South‘ is from the Hippo Campus’ sophomore EP of the same name, and it’s a track that is upbeat and cool.
As for Hippo Campus, they are an indie rock band from St. Paul, Minnesota, which is interesting as they sound very English to me.
The band has been together since 2013, and currently has two albums and an EP released. They were also the opening band for the Little Comets’ UK tour early in 2016.
