Listen to Hollow Coves’ ‘Blessings’ from Grey’s Anatomy, Season 18, Episode 14

Brisbane-based Australian indie folk band/duo Hollow Coves’ ‘Blessings‘ was played on Grey’s Anatomy last night — Grey’s Anatomy, Season 18, Episode 14, “Road Trippin“.

The song is from the duo’s 5-track EP of the same name, which came out in 2021 via Nettwerk Music Group, and is a lovely feel good track as it reminds you to make the most of the time you spend with the people you love.

After all, it really is a blessing.

Hollow Coves, by the way, is Aussie musicians and singers Ryan Henderson and Matt Carins.

The pair have been releasing music together since their first songs were uploaded to Soundcloud, with neither at the time planning on a career in music.

Instead, Matt was a carpenter, and Ryan was studying for his engineering degree.

But, as their music became more popular, it looked like a career in the music industry was probably the better choice. As it’s turned out, they were right.

Since then, Hollow Coves’ music has been gaining more and more traction, to the extent that it has been licensed for play on hit TV series like Elementary, The Fosters, New Amsterdam, You, Me Her, Scorpion and Virgin River.

Listen to Hollow Coves’ ‘Blessings‘ from this week’s Grey’s Anatomy in the song’s lovely official music video, and on the band’s latest EP, and you will see why.

Season 18 of Grey’s Anatomy is currently airing on the ABC network.
