Listen to Icona Pop’s ‘On A Roll’ From ‘Sisters’, Upbeat Electro-Pop at Its Best

The Tina Fey and Amy Poehler movie ‘Sisters‘ got mixed reviews, as a fair number of critics didn’t like the vulgarity and crudeness, nor did they find it funny. But, one thing many people did agree on was how fabulous the ‘Sisters‘ soundtrack was, with music from Depeche Mode, Mount Saint, Simply Red, Greg Laswell, Iggy Azalea and, of course, the wonderfully upbeat ‘On A Roll‘ from Icona Pop.

In fact, Icona Pop’s ‘On A Roll’ was perfect for ‘Sisters‘ as, to me, it absolutely fits the personalities of the two sisters (Fey and Poehler) and the out of control feeling of both of their lives.

As for Icona Pop, they are a Swedish female electro-pop duo that is currently based in the US. The music they produce is consistently cool, and fabulous if you’re looking for something to listen to when you really want to get pumped.

So much so it has been featured in TV shows like ‘Girls’, ‘The Vampire Diaries‘ and ‘Glee‘. And now, of course, in the movie ‘Sisters‘.

Listen to Icona Pop’s ‘On A Roll‘ in the video below. Don’t you love that 80s feel?
