Listen to Jackson Guthy’s ‘Giants’ from Grey’s Anatomy, Season 16, Episode 14, “A Diagnosis”

American singer songwriter Jackson Guthy’s ‘Giants’ was featured on the new episode of the long-running medical drama Grey’s Anatomy this week — Grey’s Anatomy, Season 16, Episode 14, “A Diagnosis“.

The song has gorgeous vocals with a powerful rock feel, and a tug-on-the-heart-strings message of empowerment that fits beautifully with the Grey’s Anatomy sensibility.

Giants‘ was originally released by Guthy in 2019 on the indie record label Nine Planets, and is one of the five tracks from his Stories EP also released last year.

Jackson Guthy first came to public attention when he was featured on The Ellen DeGeneres Show performing his debut single ‘Loving‘. He was just 15-years-old at the time.

Since then, he has made a couple more appearance on Ellen, toured with MKTO and Emblem3 and, along with four other guys, founded a rock band called North of Nine.

That band released their debut single ‘We Ride‘ and a debut EP back in 2015.

As for Grey’s Anatomy, it is now officially the United States’ longest-running medical drama, and was recently renewed for its 17th season, which will begin airing later in the year.

And yes, while the exceptional cast and superb storytelling obviously have a lot to do with the show’s incredible success, their music supervisors have also helped as they do choose some of the best songs heard on any TV show.

Listen to Jackson Guthy’s ‘Giants‘ from Grey’s Anatomy in the Spotify widget and in the official lyric video below for instance, and that is just one stunning example of a whole slew of beautiful songs.
