Listen to Jaden’s ‘Watch Me’ from Power, Season 6, Episode 11, “Still DRE”

Singer, songwriter and rapper Jaden’s ‘Watch Me‘ was featured on the crime drama Power this week — Power, Season 6, Episode 11, “Still DRE“.

The rap track was heard as Dre and Tina are driving away, and Dre explains he still has one last thing he needs to do before they can actually leave town.

Jaden’s ‘Watch Me‘ is from the artist’s debut studio album Syre. Titled that due to it being his middle name.

Released in November, 2017 via MSFTSMusic and Roc Nation, the album was a reasonable success for the then-19-year-old rapper.

It made it onto the charts in seven countries, including the UK and the United States. In the U.S. it also hit the #10 spot on the Top R&B/Hip Hop albums chart.

The album was quite well-received by critics, receiving positive reviews from media companies like AllMusic, The Post and Salute.

Some critics were, of course, more harsh.

That, however, is likely to do with Jaden being the son of mega-star actors Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith and critics’ erroneous opinion he had only been given a recording contract because of that.

The release of Jaden’s ‘Watch Me‘ came with an official music video that has the artist out in the desert driving a classic Firebird, dancing and with a damn nice haircut.

Watch that music video, and listen to Jaden’s ‘Watch Me‘ as heard on Power below.
