British singer songwriter Jessie Ware’s ‘Hearts‘ showed up on the NBC drama series The Village this week — Season 1, Episode 10, “I Have Got You“.
The track was played at the beginning of the episode during the opening montage.
Jessie Ware’s ‘Hearts‘ is from the singer’s 2017 third studio album Glasshouse, which was released via Island Records. The pop music album spawned three singles, ‘Midnight’, ‘Selfish Love‘ and ‘Alone‘, and debuted in the number 7 spot on the UK album chart.
It also charted in seven other countries, including Greece, New Zealand and Scotland. The album was certified Gold in Poland.
The sad ‘Hearts’ was written by Jessie Ware, Julia Michaels, Levin and Benjamin Ash, and produced by Two Inch Punch and Blanco. It has also been featured on the supernatural drama Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments.
You can listen to Jessie Ware’s ‘Hearts‘ in the audio video below, as featured on The Village. Sadly, The Village itself is receiving incredibly low ratings from both viewers and critics, so the chances of it getting passed its first season are probably quite slim.
You can also hear the 17-track Deluxe Version of Jessie Ware’s album Glasshouse in its entirety in the Spotify widget below that. That album includes two versions of the song — the original release and an acoustic version.
