Listen to John Newman’s ‘Stand By Me (Acoustic)’ from Good Trouble, Season 4, Ep. 14

British soul pop singer songwriter John Newman’s ‘Stand By Me (Acoustic)‘ was played on Good Trouble last night — Good Trouble, Season 4, Episode 14, “Life is What Happens…“.

The track was heard at the reception as Jazmin and Gael are dancing together.

John Newman’s ‘Stand By Me (Acoustic)‘ was released in 2020 on the Island Records label.

The original version of the track was released as a single in March of that year, and  that charted in both Scotland and the United Kingdom.

The singer’s acoustic version was then released along with a Tiësto Remix.

Newman himself is most known for his song ‘Love Me Again‘, as it was used on the FIFA 14 video game soundtrack. He was also featured on Rudimental’s hit single ‘Feel the Love‘.

While not a mainstream singer, the popular British musician has still been nominated for three Brit Awards, an MTV Europe Music Award, and an Ivor Novello Award for ‘Love Me Again‘, which he won.

Interestingly too, his brother James is also a successful singer, not only winning a Brit Award but also representing the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest.

Listen to John Newman’s ‘Stand By Me (Acoustic)‘ as heard on Good Trouble in the music video for the song, as well as on the Spotify player.

Good Trouble is currently airing on Freeform.
