Listen to Jordan Max’s ‘Hell‘ — it’s fiery, rich and anguished
British indie soul singer songwriter Jordan Max’s song ‘Hell’ was featured on the new episode of the HBO series Ballers on Sunday night — Season 4, Episode 7, “The Kids are Aight”.
The track was played over the end credits.
Jordan Max’s ‘Hell‘ is originally from his four-track debut EP Only One is King, which was released back in March, 2016.
Amazingly, the 25-year-old Oldham native (23 when he recorded the song) recorded ‘Hell‘ along with the rest of his EP in his bedroom. Yet the track still manages to deliver the majesty of a fiery preacher, and a voice with the richness, experience and anguish of someone that sounds much older.
Particularly as he is singing about the hell on earth many people currently live in.
