Listen to Lainey Wilson’s ‘Smell Like Smoke’ from Yellowstone, Season 5, Ep. 3 — cool live performance from a country star

Up and coming American country singer songwriter Lainey Wilson performed her song ‘Smell Like Smoke‘ live on the Peacock TV series Yellowstone last night during the episode’s final scenes as everyone arrives at the bar, and right before the fight breaks out — Yellowstone, Season 5, Episode 3, “Tall Drink of Water“.

The cool live performance is the second time Wilson has appeared on Yellowstone this year, as we also saw her in her role as Abby, Ryan’s latest love interest, in Episode 1 of this season.

The song is the first track on Wilson’s second major label studio album Bell Bottom Country, which came out last month via the BBR record label.

The album charted at #3 on the UK Country Albums chart, #12 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, and ranked #100 on the Billboard 200.

Bell Bottom Country also charted high up the charts in Australia.

Wilson herself has been releasing music for a long time, with her first self-released EP Country Girls Rule coming out in a digital release while she was in high school.

Her first release on an indie label, though, came out a decade later in 2014 with her self-titled debut album on the Cupit label.

Wilson then signed a contract with BBR Music Group, and has since released two albums and an EP via that label.

With each new release, she gains more attention from TV music supervisors, with ‘Smell Like Smoke‘ now being her fourth song licensed for play on Yellowstone so far.
