Listen to Lauren Daigle’s ‘Rescue‘ as featured on Grey’s Anatomy — it’s beautiful
Lauren Daigle’s song ‘Rescue‘ was featured at the end of the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy this week — Season 15, Episode 7, “Anybody Have A Map?“, and fans have gone a little bit crazy for the track as it really is gorgeous.
‘Rescue’ was played during the ending montage as Catherine tells Thomas to start fixing her, and then gets Richard’s email, Maggie texts Meredith and then Richard calls her.
Lauren Daigle’s ‘Rescue‘ is from the contemporary Christian singer’s third studio album Look Up Child.
The album was released in September this year, and hit the number 1 spot on the U.S. Christian Albums chart and number 1 on the UK’s Christian and Gospel albums chart. It also charted in four other countries.
Daigle herself is a Christian singer songwriter from Lafayette, Louisiana. She had her debut studio album nominated for a Grammy Award back in 2015, with the singer also being nominated for an winning various Christian music awards over the next few years.
She has also provided music for the Blade Runner 2049 soundtrack.
And while Daigle’s ‘Rescue‘ was used in Grey’s Anatomy as a generic background song appropriate for the scenes it plays behind, it is a Christian song.
