The movie features not only a fun plot and cute performances from the film’s stars, but also some epic songs on its soundtrack.

Songs that include Leah Kate’s ‘10 Things I Hate About You‘, which showed up at the beginning of the film as Stacy is explaining that children’s coming of age happens at different times, and is celebrated differently around the world depending on the culture.

More about Leah Kate’s ‘10 Things I Hate About You

Leah Kate’s ‘10 Things I Hate About You‘ was released by the American pop punk singer on her third EP Alive and Well last year.

It became a hit for the singer after it went viral on Tik Tok, and ended up ranking high up charts in seven countries.

That included success in the UK and the U.S. where it hit #2 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart and at #20 on the Mainstream Top 40.

The song was also eventually certified Silver in the UK and Gold in the United States.

10 Things I Hate About You‘ was written by the singer, alongside Canadian songwriter Mike Wise and Madi Yanofski, and stemmed from a list the singer made about 50 things she hated about her ex-boyfriend all in a way to attempt to get over their breakup.

A song soon morphed from that list, and the rest is music history.

Listen to Leah Kate’s ‘10 Things I Hate About You‘ as heard on You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah in the lyric video, and via the Spotify widget.

It’s hella catchy and cute.
