British singer songwriter Lucy Spraggan’s ‘Animal‘ was licensed for play on the soundtrack of Kung Fu this week — Kung Fu, Season 2, Episode 8, “Disclosure“.
The song was heard as Mia tries to talk to Nicky, and as Nicky gets a lead on the Enclave.
Lucy Spraggan’s ‘Animal‘ was released on the singer’s sixth studio album Choices, which came out in 2021 via the indie label Cooking Vinyl.
The album made it to #5 on the UK Albums Chart.
The singer herself came to prominence when she auditioned for and won a place on The X Factor.
A show where she ultimately ended up in ninth place after having to leave early due to health issues.
After Columbia Records signed her soon after the show, Spraggan has gone on to release six albums, an EP and several singles. Three of her singles went on to place in the Top 50 in the UK, Ireland and Scotland.
Spraggan’s ‘Animal‘ also has a music video in which the singer quits her job in a restaurant kitchen after constantly being late, then heading to a gym where she participates in a boxing match.
A match she does eventually win.
