Irish singer songwriter LYRA’ ‘Falling‘ was featured on Grey’s Anatomy last night — Grey’s Anatomy, Season 16, Episode 9, “Let’s All Go To The Bar“.
It was played in the montage of scenes as Link finds out that Jo kept the baby, Cormac talks to Meredith about working together and Amelia learns her baby will be born sooner than she expects.
According to LYRA, ‘Falling‘ is about a guy she was dating who was unfaithful to her and, while you might think that would make it a depressing song, it’s actually not.
Because even though the lyrics say:
I taste her lips when you’re kissing my mouth
You’re in my head and I can’t get you out
I taste her lips when you’re kissing my mouth
You’re in my head and I can’t get you out
the sound of the song has such a strong feeling of female empowerment, you still presume LYRA will be just fine.
