The song was played as Anthony is on a French beach reading, and as we see Jennifer walking with her friends.

Marianne Faithfull’s ‘This Little Bird‘ was one of several songs the English singer released in 1964, soon after she was discovered at a party by record producer and manager Andrew Loog Oldham.

The song was very successful for Faithfull, who soon became known as one of the major acts associated with ‘the British Invasion’ in the United States.

The track also appeared on the United States’ version of her self-titled debut studio album, which arrived in April, 1965.

Faithfull went on to release more than 20 studio albums throughout her career, as well as three live albums and a number of compilation releases.

Meanwhile, more than 55 years after her first songs were recorded, Marianne Faithful is now 74-years-old and still recording and performing.
