Listen to Max Richter’s ‘Dona Nobis Pacem 2’ from Peaky Blinders, Season 5, Ep. 4 — a stunning piece of music

If you watched Peaky Blinders last night, you may have recognized the gorgeous Max Richter piece ‘Dona Nobis Pacem 2‘ — the music that was played while the ballet was being performed, as well as in that heart-grabbing scene where Aberama Gold is proposing to Polly Gray — Peaky Blinders, Season 5, Episode 4, “The Loop“.

That piece of music was previously featured on the soundtrack of the first season of the HBO series The Leftovers, and is one of the most emotional pieces of music to ever appear on a TV series.

A piece that grabs every feeling you have, grips it, twists it, magnifies it and evicerates it. And a piece that perfectly illustrated how our hearts felt as we watched Aberama and Polly.

Listen to Max Richter’s ‘Dona Nobis Pacem 2‘ (Grant Us Peace 2) in the video below.

If you love it, I also recommend you listen to the soundtrack of The Leftovers in the Spotify widget below that. The soundtrack was entirely written by Max Richter, and is one of the most beautiful instrumental soundtracks you will ever have the good fortune of hearing.
