British soul singer and songwriter Mega’s ‘New Light‘ was featured on Grey’s Anatomy this week — Grey’s Anatomy, Season 17, Episode 12, “Sign O’ The Times‘ — which aired on April 15th, 2021.
The song was heard as Winston is talking to Maggie after being pulled over by the police, and as Schmidt’s patient is in the hyperbaric chamber.
Mega’s ‘New Light’ is from the North London native’s six-track debut EP Future Me.
That EP was self-released by the singer last year.
An artist who names luminaries like Chaka Khan, Whitney Houston, Lauryn Hill and Amy Winehouse among her musical influences.
Mega’s ‘New Light’ also comes with a music video that has the young singer performing the track live in a one-take performance.
Her voice is rich, crazily mature for her young age and really quite stunning.
