Listen to Mitski’s ‘Love Me More’ from The Flight Attendant, Season 2, Episode 5

Japanese-American singer Mitski’s ‘Love Me More‘ was that song playing over the end credits of the latest episode of The Flight Attendant this week — The Flight Attendant, Season 2, Episode 5, “Drowning Women“.

The catchy song was the fourth single from Mitski’s sixth studio album Laurel Hell.

The album was released on the Dead Oceans indie record label back in February.

And it’s an interesting song as, on first listen, it sounds very much like the singer is pleading with the person she loves to love her more.

But, when you watch Mitski’s ‘Love Me More‘ music video, it becomes more obviously about pleading with herself to love herself more than it is a message to someone else.

As for Mitski’s Laurel Hell album, it became a commercial hit for the singer.

The album charted in the #1 spot on both the U.S. Top Alternative Albums chart and the Top Rock Albums chart, as well as hitting #2 on the Independent Albums chart and #5 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Laurel Hell also charted high on charts in more than 15 other countries, including the United Kingdom.

Listen to Mitski’s ‘Love Me More‘ as heard on The Flight Attendant in the song’s music video, and on her Laurel Hell album, and check out more music used on the show on Leo Sigh.
