My Morning Jacket’s ‘Victory Dance‘ was featured on the soundtrack of the latest episode of the thriller series Condor last night — Condor, Season 2, Episode 10, “Not Necessarily To Lose“.
The song was played over the end credits.
My Morning Jacket’s ‘Victory Dance‘ is from the American rock band’s sixth studio album Circuital.
Released in 2011, the album debuted at number five on the Billboard 200 chart, #1 on the Independent Albums chart, #3 on both the Alternative Albums chart and Rock Albums chart.
It was also nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Alternative Music Album category.
Circuital was produced by Tucker Martine and was recorded in a church gym in the band’s hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.
The song ‘Victory Dance‘ has attracted the attention of other Music Supervisors besides the supervisor for Condor, as the song has also been included on the soundtracks of Big Little Lies, The Secret Circle and House M.D.
The band gave a superb live performance of the track on the PBS music show Austin City Limits a few years ago, which you can watch in the video below.
