Listen to Neil Finn & Eddie Vedder’s ‘Throw Your Arms Around Me’ from The Bear S2 E8 ending scenes

That gorgeous song playing over the end scenes of The Bear, Season 2, Episode 8, “Bolognese” as the restaurant gets its fire clearance, and as the staff start to get ready for opening, is Neil Finn & Eddie Vedder’s ‘Throw Your Arms Around Me‘.

It is also the song that continued to play as Carmy is cooking dinner for Claire, she arrives home and kisses him, and then plays over the end credits.

Neil Finn & Eddie Vedder’s ‘Throw Your Arms Around Me‘ is actually a cover song of the Australian rock band Hunters & Collectors’ original release.

Their song came out in 1984 as a single by the band, and charted in both Australia and New Zealand.

It went on to become one of the most popular songs in Australia for several decades, as well as a track that has been since covered by so many musicians it is hard to keep track.

The Crucible – The Songs of Hunters & Collectors tribute album

Neil Finn & Eddie Vedder’s cover of ‘Throw Your Arms Around Me‘ was released back in 2013 on a tribute album for the Aussie band called Crucible – The Songs of Hunters & Collectors.

The pair had both released the song previously, Neil Finn with his band Crowded House, and Eddie Vedder with his band Pearl Jam.

The two musicians thought it would be a great idea to record it together for the Crucible – The Songs of Hunters & Collectors tribute album.

The song playing over The Bear end credits was the result.
