Singer songwriter Neko Case’s ‘I Wish I Was The Moon‘ was featured on the latest episode of the NBC medical drama series New Amsterdam this week Season 1, Episode 15, “Croaklahoma“.
The song was heard at the beginning of the episode’s ending montage, as Max is back in the chemotherapy room.
Neko Case’s ‘I Wish I Was The Moon‘ is from the American musician’s third solo album Blacklisted.
An album that, although ‘I Wish I Was The Moon’ still has an alternative country feel, most of the other tracks on it do not.
It was a move away from Case’s usual alt country sound, but not one that made the album particularly successful sadly.
As for Neko Case herself, she has a slew of albums released. Seven as a solo artist, plus seven with her indie rock band, the Canadian The New Pornographers.
Her latest album is her 2018 release Hell-On.
