Listen to Nilu’s ‘Hummingbird’ from Grey’s Anatomy with its gorgeous Persian influences

Listen to Nilu’s ‘Hummingbird‘, it’s beautiful

Nilu’s ‘Hummingbird‘ was featured on the new episode of Grey’s Anatomy this week — Episode 15, Episode 6, “Flowers Grow Out Of My Grave“.

The song was heard as Teddy, Amelia and Owen are looking for Betty, as Meredith tells Maggie that Thatcher is dying, and as Meredith talks to Jackson about his father.

Nilu’s ‘Hummingbird‘ is a new single from the California based American Persian singer songwriter, and was just released today. On her birthday.

It is the third Nilu song that has been used on the soundtrack of Grey’s Anatomy after the show has also featured ‘Are You With Me, and her lovely cover version of The Fray’s ‘How To Save A Life’ in the past.

And the song is another gorgeously complex song from Nilu that includes the subtle Persian influences you often hear in her music, along with stunning strings and pounding synth.

You can listen to Nilu’s ‘Hummingbird’ in the Spotify widget below, or on these sites. And learn more about Nilu on her website.

Her four-track debut EP Dichotomy is also available on all digital music platforms.
