Welsh singer songwriter Novo Amor’s ‘Anchor’ was featured on the new episode of New Amsterdam this week — New Amsterdam, Season 2, Episode 2, “The Big Picture“.
The song was played as Kapoor sees Max on the roof and tells him that now is the time to grieve for his loss.
Novo Amor’s ‘Anchor‘ is from the Welsh singer’s Bathing Beach EP.
Released in 2017, it was the second EP from the indie singer, and was soon followed up by two full albums, including his  debut solo record Birthplace.
As for Novo Amor, aka Ali John Meredith-Lacey, he first came to the attention of the music industry after the release of his 2014 debut EP Woodgate, NY.
Originally from Llanidloes, Wales nowadays, however, he is Cardiff-based.
Meredith-Lacey chose the moniker Novo Amor, which means ‘new love’ in Portuguese, after he went through a bad break up. He later explained that following his passion for music was his new love.
