Electro music duo Odesza‘s ‘The Last Goodbye‘ (feat. Bettye LaVette) was that cool song playing over the end credits of Truth Be Told, Season 3, Episode 9, “Only Little Secrets” right after that explosive ending.
The powerful track was released as the lead single and title track of the duo’s fourth studio album of the same name, which came out last year on the Ninja Tune label.
‘The Last Goodbye‘ is a mash up of Odesza’s original composition along with extensive samples of a song called ‘Let Me Down Easy‘ released by soul singer Bettye LaVette way back in 1965.
And hell, what an amazing song that created, eh?
Since its release, the song has gone on to earn almost 18 million plays on YouTube alone for the visualizer video and the song’s official music video.
It has also became the electro music duo’s most popular song on Spotify.
