Listen to Off Bloom’s ‘Love To Hate‘ from ‘Shadowhunters‘

Anglo-Danish group Off Bloom’s track ‘Love To Hate’ was featured on the latest episode of the Freeform series Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments this week — Season 2, Episode 12, “You Are Not On Your Own“.

It was played during a montage of Jace and Clary demonstrating their Angelic blood empowerment for Inquisitor Herondale, Jace and Clary sparring, and then Herondale accusing Clary of lying about her abilities.

Off Bloom, aka Alex, Mads and Mette, are Danish producers who have been together as a group since 2015. They work in both Copenhagen and London, and collaborate with a variety of artists.

The catchy and synth-infused ‘Love To Hate‘ is from Off Bloom’s debut EP of the same name, and is about chasing someone you cannot have and how that makes you want them even more.

The song also has a DIY video Off Bloom filmed with a group of friends in and near a house in the countryside outside Copenhagen.

The band admitted they created a few of the scenes in the video, but otherwise  they just let their friends do whatever they wanted as the energy that came from that was exactly what they were looking for.

Watch the video below to see how it came out.
