Listen to One Republic’s ‘Let’s Hurt Tonight’ from Netflix’s The Last Summer

American pop rock band One Republic’s ‘Let’s Hurt Tonight‘ was one of the songs featured on the new Netflix romantic comedy The Last Summer, starring KJ Apa, Maia Mitchell, Jacob Latimore, Gabrielle Anwar and Halston Sage.

The track was played as Griffin discovers his dad is dating someone.

Let’s Hurt Tonight‘ was the third single from the band’s fourth studio album Oh My My. A single that currently has three versions — the album version, the one for the music video and a third that was recorded for the movie Collateral Beauty.

Interestingly, ‘One Republic’s’ ‘Let’s Hurt Tonight‘ was not a massive hit for the boy band upon release, even though the Collateral Beauty version music video for the song does now have over 77 million views on YouTube.

In fact, when released, the track did not chart in the UK, and only made it to the number 21 spot on the US Adult Top 40 chart. Other than that, it had mediocre success on charts in Austria, Germany, Italy, Slovenia and Switzerland.

A little odd, especially considering it is quite a powerful song.
