British singer songwriter Passenger’s ‘Let Her Go‘ was featured on the NBC medical drama New Amsterdam this week — New Amsterdam, Season 2, “Episode 14, “Sabbath“.
The song was played at the beginning of the episode as we see Max and Alice walking in the park with their kids.
Passenger’s ‘Let Her Go‘ is the second single released from the singer’s extremely successful fourth studio album All the Little Lights.
The song itself was also an enormous success for the British singer, hitting the top of the charts in almost 30 countries, gaining the year-end charts in a high position in many more, and selling millions of copies around the world. Including more than four million digital copies in the United States.
‘Let Her Go’ was also nominated for, and won, the British Academy’s Ivor Novello Award for Most Performed Work that year.
It is just one of a number of Passenger songs featured on popular TV series, however, as he has become a popular artist for many music supervisors.
Some of these shows include Dawson’s Creek, Chasing Life, Elementary, The Vampire Diaries, The Royals and Skam Belgium.
The ‘Let Her Go’ music video also has an insane 2.6 billion views, as the popularity of the song also moved to YouTube.
