American musician Perfume Genius’ ‘One More Try‘ was one of the tracks played on last night’s episode of Good Trouble — Good Trouble, Season 3, Episode 11, “Knocked Down“.
The sad, somber ‘One More Try‘ is from the indie singer songwriter’s fifth studio album Set My Heart on Fire Immediately.
The pop rock album was released via the Matador Records label in May, 2020, and charted in five countries including the U.S. and UK.
In the United States, Perfume Genius‘ Set My Heart on Fire Immediately charted on six different charts, with its highest position at #18 on the Top Alternative Albums chart.
It also made it to #7 on the UK Independent Albums chart.
At the end of last year, the critically acclaimed album was also named to the Best Albums of 2020 lists by such iconic media as the BBC, Gigwise, Pitchfork, Under the Radar, and NPR.
