Season 3 of the British-American football-themed drama Ted Lasso continued this week with yet more cool songs on the episode’s soundtrack.
Those songs included Peter, Paul and Mary’s ‘Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right‘, which was played at the end of Ted Lasso, Season 3, Episode 4, “Big Week” as Ted is on the laptop talking to his ex-wife.
The country folk song continues playing over the end credits.
American folk group Peter, Paul and Mary’s ‘Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right‘ was actually written and first released by Bob Dylan in 1962, but was then covered by the trio the year after.
Peter, Paul and Mary’s version of the song was one of three Dylan songs the group covered on their third studio album In the Wind.
Interestingly, it was not the original Dylan release but their cover of the song that made the track popular.
That track charted at #9 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart as well as high up on the Easy Listening chart in the United States.
Listen to Peter, Paul and Mary’s ‘Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right‘ from the ending of Episode 3 of Ted Lasso on the trio’s In the Wind album, and in the video.
