Nashville-based indie pop singer, songwriter and producer Phillip LaRue’s ‘Tell Me It’s a Dream‘ was featured on the new season of the medical drama Grey’s Anatomy this week — Grey’s Anatomy, Season 16, Episode 1, “Nothing Left to Cling to” (aired on 26th September, 2019).

The song was played as Maggie and Jackson decide to part ways, Catherine asks Richard about his new job, and Meredith finds out action is being taken against her medical license.

Phillip LaRue’s ‘Tell Me It’s a Dream” is from his 7-track EP An Analog Digital Heart.  Released on the Above Ground/Tone Tree Music record labels in March, 2019, the track was co-written by LaRue and Andrew Petroff.

He has previously released two solo albums and four albums with his band LaRue, which he plays in with his sister Natalie.

The singer songwriter also has a successful career providing music to a wide variety of TV shows, including Grey’s Anatomy, One Tree Hill, The Hills, Ghost Whisperer and Nashville.
