American rapper Pitbull’s ‘Get Ready‘ feat. Blake Shelton was that fabulous track playing on 9-1-1: Lone Star last night as Owen is playing pool — 9-1-1: Lone Star, Season 4, Episode 3, “Cry Wolf“.
The song was released as the fourth single from the rapper’s eleventh album Libertad 548.
The album came out in 2019 via his own label Mr. 305 and The Orchard, which is a Sony subsidiary.
The track, which interestingly features country music singer Blake Shelton, and was premiered live during the pre-game show at the Super Bowl, went on to chart high on two charts in the U.S., and to be licensed for play on several American TV commercials.
As for Pitbull’s Libertad 548 album, even with its huge guest roster of musicians like Flo Rida, Tito El Bambino, Prince Royce, Ludacris and Becky G, the album turned out to be a massive flop for the American musician.
So bad, it only sold 3,000 units in its first week and barely charted on any American music chart.
Strange really, as there are several excellent tracks on the album, including Pitbull and Blake Shelton’s ‘Get Ready‘, which is a helluva banging song.

It is one of those cool tracks that makes it difficult to stay sitting down the minute it kicks in.
