British post-punk band Public Image Ltd. has a new album coming out this year. Only the second album they’ve released in the last 23 years, it’s called What The World Needs Now… and, in lead up to its release, PiL shared a track from it yesterday.
Called ‘Double Trouble‘, its the first track on the new album and has been released on Soundcloud so fans can get a taste of what’s to come.
Public Image Ltd. themselves are set to kick off a UK and European-wide tour with a concert in Glasgow, Scotland on September 18th. Cities they will be hitting include London, Manchester, York, Newcastle, Paris, Amsterdam, Venice, Lausanne, Berlin and a slew of others.

Have to say I thought it was fabulous from the opening bars with frontsman John Lydon complaining “What, you f*cking nagging again? About what? What? What? The toilet’s f*cking broken again.”
